1st Club meeting for the New Year

Guest Speaker Kevin Nolan and Duck Race Committee report

Kevin is the current president of our daughter club,   the Rotary Club of Keillor  He has been a member the club  for 40 years.   He is well known to some of our older members.

Kevin has run his own business in the Security and Communications industry for 44 years.  He is now semi retired but still looks after his existing customer base. 

Tonight Kevin is going to talk to us 

about the path  the Security  industry is taking especially with regard to alarm and CCTV systems.  

The Bistroteca located at the Reggio Calabria Club 476 Brunswick Rd, Parkville, Vic. 3052 is a family friendly Italian restaurant serving traditional Italian cuisine from all regions of Italy prepared from generational and traditional recipes and ingredients. We will experience authentic Italian food from Pizza topped with the freshest red sweet onion, peperoncini chillies, broccoli, spicy sausages, stewed tomatoes and aubergine.   Enjoy a 4 course, Italian curated plentiful delicious set menu in a traditional Southern Italian style.  Music and dancing will also be available.   Cost will be $64.00 per person and drinks extra at bar prices.   It will be a great night to begin our Rotary fun times in 2026 and we will require a minimum of 40 attending to confirm our booking. The fascinating opportunities at Oxford University.

Lara completed her Master of Public Policy at Oxford University in September 2025 and she is head of reseach at Aurora Energy Research. Her presentaton will provide insights into advancing your career with courses available at Oxford Universty.

She is an excellent speaker, having presented to the Club some 5 years ago. So come along and learn about the inner workings of Oxford University.
