We organise our committees around Rotary's five main Avenues of Service.

  • International - our International committee oversees the fund raising for and execution of our projects to assist international communities in need, such as Baha Tuluyan in the Phillipines, orphanages and the Children's Hospital in Myanmar, medical equipment to Kenya, cleft lip surgery in Sri Lanka and educational supplies to Peru amongst others. We actively support Donations in Kind, a recycling centre with overseas destinations.

  • Youth & Environmental Services - as the name suggests, this avenue of service focuses on initiatives aimed at building strength in our youth community and, sponsoring youth exchange students/scholarships/participation in educational forums. Protection of the environment is vitally important and attracts our attention with revegetation and war on plastics.

  • Club Service - the objective of this avenue of service is to run the activities of the Club and provide Fellowship by organising fun social events for Rotarian's and their guests. Events typically include attending the theatre, restaurant nights, annual Christmas function, Charter night (the clubs birthday), cup sweep, car rally, night at the races, etc.
